Career:

Since 2016 Yael has been the head of the Cyber Insurance Dept. and has been involved in the drafting of Cyber Policies for various Insurers. During the years Yael handled many Cyber claims filed against Insurers and dealt with both first party losses of Insureds due to Cyber attacks as well as third party claims of clients and privacy breach against Insurers.

Yael is also a Partner in the D&O Liability Dept. and has been involved in complex D&O claims. In the past decade she has been handling (on behalf of Insurers) a series of large D&O claims filed against Directors and Officers following the collapse of companies. Yael dealt with Derivative Actions and Liquidators’ Claims and was involved in liability and coverage aspects.

Yael is involved in M&A Insurance claims as well as Intellectual Property Disputes.

Yael has written several articles which were published over the years including the chapter on Israel in the “Getting the Deal Through – Insurance & Reinsurance” for the years 2010 – 2016 (published by Law Business Research Ltd.). – The chapter on Israel in the IBA Insurance Committee Substantive Project 2010 – “Insurance Portfolio Transfers “. The chapter on Israeli “Corporate Governance” published by Thomson Renters in 2015, the 2015 D&O Risk and Liability Annual Review and more.

Yael lectures regularly in academic forms as well as before members of the Insurance Industry both in Israel and abroad.

Yael was recently requested by the Israeli Bar Association to arrange and head a course for Israeli lawyers of the Bar Association on insurance topics.
